Hello Everyone!

What’s your favorite thing about winter?

With this cold spell we are having, and all this snow, it can be hard to name anything, right? I asked this question at one of my recent classes and everyone tried hard to find something positive. I heard things like:
  1. "The tress are so pretty covered in snow, especially on a brisk sunny day."
  2. "I love baking in the winter. Staying home, baking, & reading a book."
  3. "I stay home and play games with my kids."
  4. "I like to hibernate because it lets me go within to hear my own voice."
That’s what I like most. I’m usually so busy, so it's nice to be snowed in because then I have no choice but to stop, relax, and read a book. When I do this I feel so much better!! We all need down-time (or hibernation), and not just in the winter. Notice how much better you feel after a day at home doing easy things (or nothing at all). Then try and add more down time to your schedule all year round.

And also, think about this... there are certain situations we can’t do anything about, like cold weather and snow. But we can make the most of it by looking at it a different way (re-framing the situation).

Have a look at the classes we're offering this month at Santosha. I tried to add a few that I thought would be perfect for this cold winter, like Meditation Monday, Soul Discoveries (Sunday the 10th), and Sacred Circle (Wednesday the 27th). There’s a link on most classes now so you can easily register, but you can also call or text me at +1716-930-5011 or e mail and I’ll get you registered.

Also notice something new: We are going to begin featuring holistic practitioners on some Saturdays each month. I love this because we can offer all different kinds of services now. If you’d be interested in offering your services at Santosha or you know someone else who would ha e them give me a call.

This month we are featuring Katy Abrams doing healings on Feb 9th and Darnelle Parker is going Animal Communication readings & readings for people on the 23rd. Call or e mail to reserve your spot. Walk ins are welcome, but it’s better to reserve.

Santosha and I will also be at the Earth Spirit expo on Feb 23& 24. Stop at our table. I’ll be doing readings!!

I’m looking forward to seeing you soon!!

Sending you much peace, love, and blessings,
