Happy Holidays!

This time of year can be filled with joy and can also be bittersweet for many. I like the holidays. I love seeing the Christmas lights twinkling and listen to the beautiful Holiday Music. And then I think about my Mom, who LOVED Christmas, and I start feeling sad. The holidays aren’t the same in my family since she passed away. I feel it’s so important to be mindful this year of those that have lost loved ones and might be missing them or might be feeling all alone.

The part of Christmas & the holidays that’s most important is the spirit of giving of our hearts. Let’s all try & join together and do that this year. Yes we all buy gifts for people, and this year let’s make sure also we give things that come from our heart. Things like holding the door open for someone, smiling & saying hello to a stranger, remembering the neighbor down the street that just lost their spouse and making sure we take a plate of cookies over & have a cup of tea with them. And give compliments. If someone looks nice, tell them! There are days that I have been running around and feel completely exhausted, and then someone says something nice to me and it gives me back my spark & energy.

And during all the hustle & bustle of the season, take a few moments for yourself. Drive around in the evening and look at the lights or listen to some Christmas carols, or treat yourself to a cookie and some delicious hit chocolate. Take some time to meditate. It’s very important always, but even more this time of year so you can stay balanced & centered within all the busyness.

Below please take a look at the workshops we are offering at Santosha in December. We tried to be mindful and have workshops that would be nurturing for you this time of year. Some of the highlights are: Cassandra Butler & I are having our annual Winter Solstice Celebration, there’s meditation on most Mondays, and Monday the 3rd is a Ho’Oponopono sharing circle. This is a beautiful, peaceful circle that allows you to let go and embrace what’s good for you. Take a look & we hope to see you!!

Much Peace & Love,
