GREENFINGERS GARDEN AT THE PERTH ROYAL SHOW

The SMRC and Recycle Right are really proud to be involved in Trevor Cochrane’s Greenfingers Garden again in 2014. The compost from the garden is a blend of SMRC compost made from waste our residents have put in their green-topped bins! The garden is mostly edible plants and also features logs milled into seats from the SMRC’s Green Waste Facility and glass mulch from SMRC residents' yellow-topped bins. Thanks to Jack Kailis at Perth Bin hire for processing and supplying the glass.

The Garden was officially opened in the evening of Friday the 26th of September by the Hon. Mia Davies, Minister for Water.
