The first MailChimp newsletter from Rainbow Valley!
Hello <<First Name>>,

As you can see I have changed the Newsletter over to MailChimp.  I am afraid you will have to bear with me for this one - another learning curve!

On that note, I would like to apologise in advance if anybody gets this newsletter twice.  I have updated all of the spreadsheets I was using for the mail merge and uploaded them.  In the meantime some of you subscribed yourselves.

Also, some of you may have previously had a similar newsletter during my fight this week with Outlook and Gmail!

There are advantages for both of us with this new system.  The advantages for you are that you can edit your details as you would like them and subscribe (or unsubscribe - but why would you want to?) to your hearts content!  So please, use the buttons at the bottom of this email to update your subscription.

The advantages for me are that once I have learned how to use it properly I can have a bit more fun with the newsletters and I am not going to have to spend ages fighting with Outlook to get my newsletters out.

You may also notice that I have a brand new email address especially for the newsletter.  Please add it to your safe senders list and/or your address book so that my emails don't end up in your spam folder.

May all your projects be frogless,
Happy Crocheting,
Helen

Its competition time!

This competition was inspired by a very expensive bag.  I am sure we can all come up with something much better and at a faction of the cost!  Click on the button to go to the competition page and find out how to enter.

We already have the first entry, I am looking forward to seeing lots more.
I have finished the Aran Hat and Mittens which were made to match the Poncho featured in the January issue of Inside Crochet.
I have also been working on the second of the Four Seasons wall hangings.  This one is Poppy for Summer.  Click on the picture to find out more.
And if you would like to see the poncho here is a photo from the magazine with a link to the Ravelry page.

There is a special offer if you are brave enough to buy the full set before they are all finished.
