Palestinian Christians Clash with Police over Apartheid Wall
The three Roman Catholic priests tried to pray among olive trees that bulldozers and mechanical diggers were seeking to uproot but were stopped by police.
One demonstrator was arrested as he tried to plant an olive sapling in front of the excavators.
Extremist Jewish group wants churches in Israel destroyed
The leader of a Jewish extremist group has been questioned by police after publicly advocating the destruction of Christian churches in Israel on religious grounds.
Benzi Gopstein, head of Lehava - a far-Right organisation - was summoned to Israel's national police headquarters in Jerusalem after the Vatican called for him to be prosecuted and his group outlawed over recent comments. Mr Gopstein claimed that attacks on Christian churches were permissible under an edict ascribed to a 12th century Jewish philosopher.
He argued that churches had "no place" in Israel under Jewish law.

The Palestinians of Susiya probably feel disoriented, unstable and scared that their way of life could be dismantled at any minute. I know, because I am in a similar situation.
