Dear friends

Its been a big couple of weeks for Palestinian Christians.  Last week a delegation of senior Palestinian Church leaders were in Ireland pleading for support and action (read more).  And Christians in the Cremisan Valley are appealing to the Pope for him to intervene to stop the separation wall going through their community after they lost an appeal in the Israeli civil court (read more).  See below for more headlines - as well as new resources and updates on church actions for Palestine.

We're still finalising our materials before we 'launch' ourselves. In the meantime, we have just opened our facebook and twitter accounts - please find us there!

Don't miss your opportunity to hear Dr Mona ElFarra from the Red Crescent Society in the Gaza Strip speak when she's here later this month.  Find an event near you.

Invite speaker to share experiences from Palestine

The Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network has a list of Australians who have traveled to Palestine and are willing to share their experiences with groups around the country.  There are four people who have just returned home from Palestine - two from a Christian Peacemaker Team delegation, and another couple who volunteered with the Ecumenical Accompaniment Program in Palestine Israel (with World Council of Churches).  Contact contact@pien.org.au to arrange a speaker to come to your church or group.
