Climate change is a enormous challenge, but it's also an opportunity to break down barriers between people and work toward a more equitable society.

Upcoming Events

March 22; noon: Film screening and Q&A with CCL group leader Bill Barron who ran for Congress in Utah in 2014; DC Environmental Film Festival.

March 26; 9am-3pm: ONE DC's "Equitable Development in DC: Sustainability from Below" Conference brings together organizers, students, scholars, elected officials, and others who are working to create sustainable & equitable development in DC; The George Washington University.  

March 27; 7pm: Screening of The Burden, a film on the military's relationship with fossil fuels featuring CCL Advisor Bob Inglis; DC Environmental Film Festival. 

March 28; 2pm-5pm: ONE DC Annual Membership Meeting. Climate activists can learn more about building resilient communities, especially for DC's most vulnerable residents; African American Civil War Memorial Museum.

April 2; 7pm: NASA talk on climate change and the poles with Dr. Walt Meier, Mt. Pleasant Public Library.
