Abstract Art Exploration:
Experiment with colors and supplies including watercolors, acrylic paint, acrylic inks, colored pencil, gel pens and oil pastels in this fun, low-key, explorative class. You will create monochromatic paintings by building up layers of color and adding tiny tweaks to create your own, unique works of art, ready to pop in a frame. We will be using 140 lb. Cold Press Watercolor Paper for our paintings and we will complete two 5.5”x8.5” paintings during class. No previous painting experience required.
Materials Provided: Watercolor paper, Colored Pencils, Oil Pastels, Paint Brushes, Paper Towels, Paper Plates for paint palette, Aprons, Drying Tools, We will have extra paints and inks on hand to experiment with as well.
