NEWCOMERS' BRUNCH

Saturday, September 12 | 9 AM -1 PM | Commons

Are you new to St. Andrew’s? You are invited to the Newcomers’ Brunch! Come & learn the history of St. Andrew's, what Anglicans believe, and the vision and values of the church. This event is a great on-ramp to St. Andrew's and to the Newcomers class that will start the following day, Sunday, September 13th during the Sunday school hour. For more information, please contact Jessie Smith at jessie@saclr.org.

Zoom Bible Study

The walls are down, hopes are crushed and the very identity of Israel is at risk. Almost 2,500 hundred years later, what can we learn about God, ourselves, and our circumstances from the life and ministry of Nehemiah?

Join David Young on Zoom for a study of the book of Nehemiah to consider and discuss the various answers to this thought-provoking, heart-stirring, and incredibly relevant question. The study will last 8 weeks and each week there will be 2 sessions for men and 1 for men and women. Please email David at hdyung@aol.com to sign up and receive your reading assignments.

Dates and Times:

  • Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning September 20 (For Men)
  • Monday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning September 21 (For Men and Women)
  • Wednesday mornings at 7 a.m. beginning September 23 (For Men)

Baptisms Sunday

We will celebrate the sacrament of baptism on Sunday, September 27 and November 1.
If you would like to be baptized, or have your child baptized, please contact Kathy Stephenson by September 21 (for September 27) and October 26 (for November 1).

In-Person & Live Stream

We continue to offer two live services on Sundays at  8:45 AM and 11 AM,  along with a live stream for each of those services.

We will start our live steam 10 minutes before each service so that you have plenty of time to find and start viewing before the service starts. The booklet to follow along with the service can be found in the description of the video (hit "show more" to see it) and in the comment section of the video. We will also be posting it on our Facebook page.

Newcomers' Class:
Liturgy and Discipleship at St. Andrew’s

Sundays, September 13 - November 1 at 10:10 AM
Taught by Dustin Freeman • Commons

How does discipleship get real in our daily lives? How does the way Anglicans worship relate to becoming more like Jesus? Everyone is welcome to attend this edition of the Newcomers’ Class as we explore how discipleship and liturgy function as the foundation for experiencing God’s transformative grace in everyday life. We will meet downstairs in the Commons, and there will be a Zoom participation option, as well. For more information, email Jessie at jessie@saclr.org. Click HERE to join via Zoom.

Family Ministry

ACTIVITY BAGS:
There are activity bags available for children who come to a Sunday morning service located on the table in the center of the Narthex.  Each bag has coloring sheets, activity pages, a sermon guide, crayons, and stickers.

WEEKLY VIDEO LESSONS:
Has your family been keeping up with the weekly video lessons each week? You can access them through the church-wide emails sent on Thursdays and Sundays. For this week’s videos, click on the logos below. “Beginnings” is for toddlers through Pre-k children. “ENCOUNTER Kids” is for elementary ages (K-5th grade).

Drive-in Worship

There is a new way to tune in on Sundays at St. Andrew’s! You can park on the west, north, or upper east lots of the campus. We will have the radio station to tune into on a sign by communion packets that will be at the downstairs back doorway.

We hope this offers those who have not been able to come into the building and “be together” the opportunity to see others in the congregation while staying a safe distance away.
