Two increasingly rare NYC appearances coming up beginning with a solo electronics show at Barbes this Sunday 4/29 w/ Jeremy Udden & Brad Shepik!
Happy Spring to my New York friends! I'm writing to let you know about two upcoming NYC appearances beginning this Sunday, April 29th, with a solo trombone/keyboards/FX show at Barbes at 7pm alongside the inspiring Jeremy Udden and Brad Shepik. This is part of a new series I'm curating called Special Effects featuring the many talented electro-acoustic improvisors in NYC in a round robin solo format before converging for an impromptu free improvisation to finish each set.
Then, on Tuesday, May 8th, Catharsis will make, what will most likely be, our last NYC performance until the Fall at Cornelia St. Cafe. We've had an amazing past 12 months that has found the music stretching out and reaching upwards as we continue to find ways for live music, and art in general, to bring positive social change to our listeners. And, we'd love to share what we've learned with you!
Show details are below. THANKS FOR READING.
