Periods don’t stop for pandemics. Neither will MH Day.
In 2019, we used the theme and hashtag #ItsTimeForAction to catalyse action towards a world where women and girls are no longer held back because of their periods. To end period poverty and stigma by 2030, we need to continue and further intensify our push for action. That’s why we will keep the #ItsTimeForAction theme and hashtag. To support you in your efforts to generate concrete commitments for action, we will provide you with powerful new advocacy tools.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, MH Day partners in many countries will most likely not be able to organise events where people come together. If the coronavirus pushes us online, then let’s make the MH Day 2020 online campaign bigger than ever! That’s why we’re working with a dream team of artists to create the most exciting and diverse set of MH Day materials for online campaigning to date.
In addition, the #Action4MHEducation will be back for the 2020 round shortly. We can’t wait to see the results you achieved in 2019 and your commitments for 2020!
