As of November 1st, I (Vanessa Greer) will be leaving Bella Capelli Salone & Day Spa; but more than that, I will be effectively retiring from massage therapy. This is both an extremely difficult, and at the same time, positive change for me.

Allow me to explain.

Roughly two years ago, I suffered a shoulder injury that severely limited my ability to work. Physical therapy helped somewhat, and then with taking time away following the birth of my daughter, I was sure things would have a chance to heal. Unfortunately, this hasn’t been the case. It turns out that caring for an infant is even more strenuous than I anticipated, and since my return to work, my condition has worsened; so much so that I am sometimes unable to lift or carry my daughter for fear of dropping her. Without focused time to recuperate and heal, I simply cannot be the mother I want to be.

As I mentioned before, this has been a very difficult decision.  It is important to me to ensure that each and every one of my clients, past and present, continue to have access to the very best care and service. I have spent considerable time and effort to ensure a transition to someone I trust can fulfill this, and I'm happy to share I’ve found the perfect person to carry my practice forward.

My long-time personal friend, and couples-massage collaborator, Andrea Fabish, has agreed to take over for me beginning November 1st. Andrea and I attended massage therapy school together, and have been colleagues/friends for over 15 years. I cannot think of anyone I would trust more.

Please be patient, as we are continuing to finalize things on the business end. I have anticipated some potential questions in regards to the transition and hopefully will answer most questions below.

Should you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out! I will ask for your patience, as responses may not be immediate; I will return all correspondence as quickly as I can.

Thank you for your patronage, friendship and support. Being a massage therapist has been the best experience I could have ever imagined, and it’s people like you that made it so.

Questions you might have:

When are you leaving?

October will be my last full month, and I will be working through the last full week of the month. I will remain available to answer client questions through the end of the year.

Will hours of operation change?
While we at Bella Capelli are all independent contractors and are able to make our own hours, we strive to make scheduling as easy as possible. The Spa is closed Sundays and Mondays and hours Tuesday through Saturday vary day to day. Andrea will strive to accommodate all scheduled appointments through the end of the year. If an appointment you have already scheduled needs changed, you will be contacted. Please feel free to check Andrea's current availability through our online scheduling software at www.bellacapellisalone.com

Do I need to cancel my appointments with Vanessa and reschedule with Andrea?
If you have already scheduled a massage appointment, Andrea will strive to keep that appointment. All clients will be contacted in order to assure they are okay with receiving their scheduled massage services with Andrea as opposed to Vanessa.

What about my Gift Certificate(s)?
Andrea has agreed to honor all gift certificates, including BOGO certificates sold last Black Friday through Cyber Monday.
