Dear WCFR Supporters,
My birthday is coming up soon, and this year I know exactly what I want. It is something new and very exciting. Instead of gifts, I am donating my birthday to raise funds to support the Marguerite Thony Scholarship. Marguerite Thony is my mother. From Syracuse, NY, Marguerite passed away on February 24th, 2018. I thank everyone who donated to WCFR in her honor. I started this fundraiser to raise $1,000 for the WCFR Marguerite Thony Scholarship.
The purpose of the Marguerite Thony Scholarship is to provide scholarship awards to college students pursuing a healthcare profession. WCFR is awarding scholarships of $500 or $1000 to students in Haiti and USA. WCFR has awarded seven scholarships to deserving college students since 2018.
Every penny of my birthday fundraiser goes to provide scholarship awards to college students pursuing a healthcare profession. So this year, instead of the gifts, would you please join me in making my birthday wish come true by helping me raise $1,000 to support the WCFR Marguerite Thony Scholarship.
