EarthCube at #AGU19 - Fall Meeting 2019

AGU 2019 is Dec 9-13. Great opportunities to listen, learn, share, and do more!

We're through the first days of AGU 2019. The Town Hall on Monday night was very well received - the six featured projects did a great job, and we were able to hear from Eva Zanzerkia on the new NSF solicitation, EarthCube NSF 20-520. NSF expects to hold an informational webinar on the solicitation on Monday, Jan. 27, 2020 at 1 PM EST - so there's plenty of time before then to start working on ideas! (deadlines and target dates are Mar. 12, 2020).

On Tuesday, EarthCube had its first full booth day (#510) plus a Meet and Greet with the EarthCube community 3:30-5:30 pm, the last 2 hours of Exhibit Hall time - wonderful to see both familiar faces and new faces!

Projects and groups have been doing a great job of showing work and progress, and are using all of the venues and presentation types. Some EarthCube and AGU activity was captured in everyone's tweets (thank you for crowdsourcing!) and liked or retweeted by @EarthCube.

From prior emails you already have links to:
(1) EarthCube Presentations, (2) Demos at EarthCube Booth 510 and (3) the Data Help Desk at Booth #1329. With this email, we're adding an in-email schedule of just today's EarthCube-related events at AGU derived from those links:

If you won't be at AGU in person this year, you can still join in for FREE through AGU GO, and livestreaming starts today!

AGU is offering FREE live-streaming of 15 sessions focused on climate over 3 days starting Wed., Dec. 11, plus access to additional sessions that will be recorded. Recordings - over 30 in all - will remain accessible for 3 months after the conference.  To participate, register at AGU-GO.
