AGU Recap

AGU 2019 was Dec 9-13 - here's some news you may have missed.

Thanks so much to everyone who participated with EarthCube at #AGU19!

Everyone's work was very valuable and deeply appreciated, including people preparing and delivering their own EarthCube presentations, delivery of demonstrations or assistance at the EarthCube booth, helping out at the Data Help Desk with our partner ESIP, attending or delivering at the EarthCube Town Hall, stopping by the Meet and Greet, and overall developing collaborations and networks - all of this work while at AGU helps to further data science and cyberinfrastructure for geosciences. Thank you.

Ultimately, about 60 scheduled EarthCube presentations occurred at AGU (including oral presentations, lightning talks, posters, and sessions). Along with Town Hall and Booth activities, there was a lot of news to pass along each day. Here are a few highlights from Twitter. To get to these and more original tweets with links and full photos, look us up on Twitter @EarthCube.

With AGU GO, people were able to join some sessions remotely, and recorded sessions are on their way.

AGU offered FREE live-streaming of 15 sessions focused on climate over 3 days starting Wed., Dec. 11, plus access to additional sessions that have been recorded. Together, over 30 recordings in all will remain accessible for 3 months after the conference. Register at AGU-GO.
