In this video produced for the AGU Centennial Meeting in December 2018, EarthCube Members explain the vision and tools of EarthCube and how that feeds into what is next for Earth Sciences and interdisciplinary research.

Tuesday Preview

Today a lot of the EarthCube community will be focusing on issues related to integrating data and data services across national and international boundaries, and creating trusted data repositories in the Earth and Space Sciences.

Lesley Wyborn and Danie Kinkade will be convening these two major sessions in Room 209A-C. Kerstin Lehnert, Anna Kelbert, Tim Rawling, Doug Fils, Lesley Wyburn, Colin Smith, and Matthew Jones will be presenting in those two sessions. Rebeca Koskela, Suzanne Pierce, Dan Fuka, Ziheng Sun, and Jay Pearlman will be presenting posters in the poster hall throughout the day.

Denise Hills will be convening a session in the late morning around the topic of enabling FAIR data through using appropriate incentives to recognize the value of discoverable, well-documented, research output that supports transparency and reproducibility of science.
