Lines on Paper: Demystifying Woodblock Prints and Manga |
|
|
Our upcoming event program Lines on Paper will reveal some of the cultural codes and artistic techniques behind two of Japan’s most iconic art forms: woodblock prints and manga. In two talks on prints and a workshop on manga, experts offer hints for ‘reading’ the details and helping you get more out of these genres. Reservations for the talks are open. The manga workshop is fully booked, waiting list available. While you're here, don't forget to see Part 2 of the EDO GIGA: Comical Woodblock Prints from Japan exhibition. |
