Busy, Busy...
The Call for Papers closed earlier this month, and we've been busy reviewing the submissions. New Voices in Japanese Studies (NVJS) works with a different Guest Editor for each volume, and we thought this would be as good a time as any to introduce the new Guest Editor for our upcoming volume, NVJS 9.

Meet Dr Olivier Krischer
We're delighted to welcome Dr Olivier Krischer as Guest Editor for NVJS 9.

Dr Krischer is a post-doctoral fellow at the Australian National University, and his research concerns the role of art in modern and contemporary China-Japan relations, as well as recent networks of artistic activism across East Asia.
