After 3.11: Have you met the new Japan? |
|
|
March 11 marks five years since a powerful earthquake and tsunami struck Japan's northeastern coast. The nation-changing disaster is now known as "3.11". This month, explore Japan's metamorphosis since 3.11 with our After 3.11: Have you met the new Japan? event program, featuring talks on post-3.11 Japan's changing social, political and artistic landscape. If you're visually inclined, the program also offers a film screening; a pottery demonstration; and a photographic exhibition, including a brief talk by photographer Tomohiro Muda at its opening reception on March 5. After 3.11 runs until April 15. |
