Masterclass: Dance and Theatre

Are you an early-career or professional artist in dance and theatre? Learn about contemporary Japanese theatre with the creators of the play, The Unknown Dancer in the Neighbourhood. Director and playwright Suguru Yamamoto, and actor-dancer Wataru Kitao will offer insights into their collaborative techniques and the play's development process. You will also get to explore and workshop ideas in a cross-cultural setting. Held at our premises on March 24, 6-8pm. The public performance in Sydney runs on March 22 & 23, places are still available.

Works by Shigeru Ban
Japanese architect Shigeru Ban is known for building temporary disaster relief shelters with paper materials, such as cardboard tubes. His innovative designs will debut in Australia at the Sherman Contemporary Art Foundation, Sydney. Featured works include a scaled version of the Cardboard Cathedral in Christchurch. Supported by the Japan Foundation. Exhibition opens March 25.
