Over the past few months at Kinolibrary we’ve been busy cataloguing some wonderful films from our new collections. Check out this video for a quick glimpse at some of our discoveries...

From the Blog: Colour Tour USA and Europe 1948
One of our favourite new finds is this 1948 colour travelogue shot by a wealthy family travelling North America and Europe. It’s a rare intimate insight into an era which many of us think of in black and white. The films take the viewer on a journey from California to Venice, London and New York, and the filmmaker had a keen eye for street styles and colourful signs. Visit the blog to read more.
From the Website: Brand New Showreels!
We’ve also been busy compiling some new showreels for our website which will be uploaded in the next few weeks. Get a first look at our latest 'On the Telephone' showreel below and head to our showreels page for updates...

Kinolibrary Go Superstripe in Shoreditch
This month Kinolibrary were commissioned to produce a short film for Patternity's Superstripe exhibition in Shoreditch. With the simple brief of 'stripes', we scoured the archive showing how stripes had permeated our visual culture through film. From interior design to fashion, from rock formations to zebra crossings, our film explores patterns through archive.

Our film 'Test Pattern' is being shown every day this month at LondonNewcastle Gallery in Redchurch Street, E2.
