A Letter from USBA's President, Peggy Jo Kennett
It was great to see so many of you at the NSBA Conference in San Diego! The Conference is a wonderful opportunity for us to participate in professional development. Hopefully you have had a chance to go online to fill out the evaluation form in order to receive credit for the sessions that you attended.
Thank you to Washington School District and to Superintendent Doty of Canyons District for representing Utah so well at the NSBA Conference. Their presentations were well done and informative.
A special congratulations to our own JoDee Sundberg, of Alpine School District, who was elected at the NSBA Conference to the NSBA Board of Directors. She will represent Utah and the Pacific Region very well.
Remember--Local School Boards matter! We represent our local community interests and we know what our local communities need.
