  • Ride On bus passengers in Montgomery County can help needy families and receive free bus rides by donating canned or nonperishable food during Ride On’s annual food drive to support Manna Food Center from Sunday, April 6 through Saturday, April 12. Manna feeds over 3,600 hungry families a month.Passengers who transfer buses will need an additional food donation to ride free on the second bus. For additional information, click here.

Young Professionals Group 2-Year Anniversary Picnic!

ABOUT: The GGCC's Young Professionals Group started on May 2, 2012. To celebrate they are celebrating their “Two-Year Anniversary” on May 7 with a BBQ picnic, fun activities and a corn-hole tournament at Smokey Glen Farm, 16407 Riffle Ford Road in Gaithersburg. The picnic will run from 5:30-7:30 pm.

GGCC 11th Annual Wine Tasting

The GGCC will hold its 11th Annual Wine Tasting at the Kentlands Mansion. Each ticket includes a wine-tasting glass and tastings. The event sponsors include The City of Gaithersburg, DrinkMore Water, the Melting Pot and Pinky and Pepe’s Grape Escape. This year’s wine tasting features a guided wine tasting tutorial five featured wines compliments of Pinky & Pepe of Pinky and Pepe’s Grape Escape.

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber will hold two candidate forums in light of the upcoming Gubernatorial Primary Elections slated for June.

These are the "Biggest Candidate Forums in the Upcounty!" Press and the public are invited to join us & the Rockville Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, May 6 for a lunch with the County Council District 3 Candidates at the Hilton Gaithersburg. Lunch is $20.
