Vote November 4th: YES! FOR the Constitutional Amendment

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce has joined the Committee to Protect Marylander's Transportation Trust Fund which seeks to educate Maryland voters about the need to protect transportation dollars.

In the General Election in November there will be a referendum question on the ballot concerning transportation funding. If approved by voters, Ballot Question 1 will add language to the Maryland State Constitution prohibiting the diversion of money from the Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) unless a fiscal emergency is declared by the Governor. In addition, a super majority (three-fifths) of the Maryland House and Senate would have to approve the diversion.
We are asking you to Vote YES on Question 1
