Maximize Your Chamber Membership: Get Involved 

We invite you GET INVOLVED and Maximize Your Chamber Membership. One of the ways you can serve and connect is by serving on a committee. The chamber has several committees both regular and ones for special events.

Current chamber committees include the following
Regular: Membership, Events, Economic Development and Legislative.
Special: Golf, Celebration Annual Celebration Dinner & Awards Ceremony, and Grow Your Business Seminar & Expo.
Women’s Group: This Member’s Group holds a monthly conversation and connection event. Each month they pick a different topic for discussion. They also hold quarterly luncheons open to members and guests.
Young Professionals: The young professional's is our newest specialty group. The group is designed for the 35 and under professional.  They hold a variety of events including Happy Hours. 
Direct Connects: Our direct connect groups are smaller networking groups. They are organized by industry type, business focus or location. Each group decides on its meeting schedule, format and topics. If we don’t have a group for you, maybe you can start one.

  • GGCC Members Grossberg Company LLP and Monument Bank, founders of the Montgomery County Business Hall of Fame announce the 2015 honorees who will be inducted at the Fourth Annual event. The annual ceremony will honor the following 2015 inductees which include THREE GGCC MEMBERS: Ron Paul, CEO of EagleBank; Kevin Sexton, President and CEO of Holy Cross Health; and Jim Sweet, President of Smokey Glen Barbequers, Inc. CONGRATULATIONS to the inductees and to all the Chamber Members involved in this endeavor!

  • Fall foliage won’t be the only colors on display when Barnesville School of Arts & Sciences hosts its second annual Color Dash 5K Fun Run in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve. Everyone is welcome to participate in this family-friendly event, Saturday, November 7 at 10:00 am on Barnesville’s campus. Pre-registration is required online at www.BarnesvilleSchool.org. Adult registration (15 years and up) is $25 per person; families are $75 for two adults and up to four children in the same family.  Long-sleeve t-shirts are included in the registration fee if registration is received by October 21, 2015. Proceeds support Barnesville’s educational program.

 The Gaithersburg-Germantown will host a "Meet the Candidates" Coffee &  Conversations in light of the upcoming Gaithersburg City Election on  Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
 
GGCC Members are invited to join us on Thursday, October 22 at Corner Bakery and Meet the Candidates.
 
This is a great opportunity for our members and local businesses to talk with the candidates about their concerns. The format will be opening remarks from candidates and then an opportunity to mix and mingle with them over a cup-o-joe.

Chamber Ireland Trip

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce invites members of the chamber and the community to experience the true Ireland Culture March 15, 2016.

The GGCC will be offering a fully escorted tour of “Emerald Island”. Come and discover the wonder of Ireland.
