So what are you doing this weekend?

Every now and then, shizzle gets a bit real down at WARC and it would be fair to say this weekend is one of those. We more or less flew through Head of the Swan, annual dinner, AGM and the Nationals program has kicked off, but that's really just the start.

Get out your diary, because this is what you need to know, and it's also time to get real familiar with Google spreadsheets so you can volunteer for stuff:

The Great Raffle
We've sold about $6000 worth of tickets so far which is not a bad start. Now is the time to put pedal to the metal. For tips on how to sell more, and return cash you have raised, check out our latest blog.
Rowing WA Open Day
WARC is participating in the Rowing WA Open Day on Sunday, November 8. Please come down, bring anyone interested in the club. Sign up for a couple of volunteer hours to help out here.
Swan River Community Markets
We still have places on November 14 and 21 for volunteers to run the WARC tent at the community markets. This is a great way to offload some raffle tickets and promote the club. Contact janetmcsmith@gmail.com to sign up.
Learn to Row coxing
We have four consecutive Learn to Row courses coming up this month. Each session needs to coxes, so that's 20 spots to be filled. Put your name down here.
We need to clean up
Come down to WARC on Saturday from 9am to midday to get the shed back in some sort of order. Check the schedule and your allocated job here.
In not great news...
The corporate company which had flagged an intention to hire the River Room for skyworks has pulled the pin. So if you know of anyone who might be interested in the venue, contact functions@warowingclub.org
