My TED talk is up!

The TED talk I gave last summer is now up. If you enjoy it, I'd be grateful if you could click 'like'; as I hope to do more speaking in 2015, metrics matter.

To that end, if you have ideas for organizations or events where my story might resonate, I'm all ears!

Read

Just before Christmas I wrote a post for The New York Times Motherlode blog on how our December conversations about charitable giving should inform our consumption year-round.

My corporate responsibility predictions for 2015? A spotlight on the media, as I wrote in The Guardian.

Listen

BBC Radio 4's "You and Yours," a consumer affairs program(me), did a Boxing Day special on companies trying to do good; I'm in the second and last segments.

Jobs

Tomorrow (January 23) is the last day to apply for summer internships with BSR, where I'm a human rights advisor.

There are a few positions open with the Business Social Compliance Initiative
and the U.S. Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

You can also find a variety of listings on boards hosted by  the International Society of Sustainability Professionals (whose conference I spoke at in November), the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre (whose board I serve on), and the aptly-named Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Jobs site.

Feel free to pass along listings that you think might be of interest to our community.

Engage

Columbia students and alumni: Next month I'll lead a free workshop for Columbia at the Earth Institute on implementing corporate sustainability. Hope to see you there, or at any other upcoming events!

I'd love to hear your thoughts on what would support your Corporate Idealist goals in 2015. Please feel free to hit 'reply' anytime to share your thoughts, and join me on
Twitter and Facebook.
