"Thought-provoking...effortlessly gulped"

When a first-time author dreams of a rave review in The New York Times Sunday Business section, "gulped" is not among the words she imagines to be in it. But it works, and I couldn't be happier -- particularly since it comes from Barbarians at the Gate author Bryan Burrough. The response has been incredible; I'll have more media to share in the coming weeks.

If you haven't yet ordered my book, now would be a great time: early orders encourage retailers to order more and my publisher to print more. And please review it on amazon once you've had a chance to dive in!

You can hear me read the beginning of Chapter 1 on my site; the clip is for The Author's Corner on Public Radio, a new program featuring a daily short reading of a new book by its author.

Events

The NYU Stern Center for Business & Human Rights will host my New York launch 3/26, moderated by Julie Burstein. I'm keeping the events page on my website up-to-date; I hope to see you soon.

What people or organizations need to hear about Corporate Idealists? Your company, your alma mater, your favorite charity, your niece about to get her MBA, your college roommate who now runs a company -- or the one scaling buildings in protests? If you have ideas for an audience that would benefit from an inside view of big business, I'm all ears.

What corporate news stories have caught your attention recently?
