Welcome

Since last time I wrote I've spoken at Columbia, Macalester, the University of Copenhagen, and more than a few conferences: Welcome to those of you who joined me at any of those events!

Jobs

I recently received a slew of job listings that I put in this blog post, including CEO openings at Bpeace (Business Council for Peace) and 1% For the Planet; and positions at the Alliance for Bangladesh Worker Safety and Framework LLC. I'm always happy to pass along listings that you think might be of interest to our community.

Listen

Last month Frontline and ProPublica published an in-depth story about Firestone's operations in Liberia; you can hear my conversation with Arvind Ganesan from Human Rights Watch in an accompanying podcast (with links to the main story).

Read

I earned an honorable mention in John Elkington's strategy+business round-up of top sustainability books of the year! And Corporate Knights ("The Magazine for Clean Capitalism") ran an interview with me.

If you're looking for holiday reading or gift material, I highly recommend Brad Edmondson's Ice Cream Social: The Struggle for the Soul of Ben & Jerry's. Here's my review of it, and my blog post about other noteworthy books out now.

Engage

My last live event of the year will be a talk hosted by Women in International Security (WIIS) and the International Crisis Group in New York on Human Rights Day, December 10th. Join me!

What are you looking forward to in 2015? I'd love to collect our top events, reads, and goals for next year and share them in a subsequent newsletter.
Please feel free to hit 'reply' anytime to share your thoughts, and join me on Twitter and Facebook.

In the meantime, thank you for all of your support this year. Here's to an impactful and idealistic 2015!
