Better Communications


 
Founded in January 2010, Renovus Capital Partners is an education-focused private equity fund based outside of Philadelphia with $470 million in assets under management across two funds. Renovus invests in small and mid-sized businesses within the education, training and human capital sectors, including both educational institutions and companies that provide these institutions with technology, content and services as well as corporate training, consulting and outsourcing businesses. The Fund is particularly interested in growth-oriented businesses, and the Renovus team actively partners with management to build its portfolio companies through acquisitions, new strategic initiatives and operational improvements. The Renovus team has a combined 50+ years of experience investing in the education and training sectors and the founding partners have been working together since 2005. Wynnewood, PA September 13, 2016 - Renovus Capital Partners (“Renovus” or the “Fund”) announced that its portfolio company, The Ariel Group, a leadership training organization focused on developing communication skills, acquired Better Communications, a firm specializing in improving the business writing skills of mid and senior level managers in finance, technology, and consulting.

Better Communications helps professionals develop their writing skills through a process known as “Reader-Centered Writing” that was created by its founder Deborah Dumaine.   She is the author of two best-selling books: Write to the Top and the Instant-Answer Guide to Business Writing.
