July 17, 2015, Wynnewood, PA - Renovus Capital Partners (“Renovus” or the “Fund”) is pleased to support its existing portfolio company, Atomic Learning, Inc., in its acquisition of Versifit Technologies, LLC ("Versifit").  Renovus, in partnership with Boathouse Capital, provided acquisition financing to support the transaction. Founded by educators in Little Falls, MN, Atomic Learning is a leading provider of technology training to K-12 districts and higher education institutions.  Atomic’s mission is to leverage the power of technology to drive better educational outcomes.

Versifit is a leading provider of end-to-end data warehousing and analytic reporting solutions to school districts throughout the United States.  Founded in 1998 and headquartered in Appleton, WI, Versifit provides their customers with exceptional products, service, and long-term stability while maintaining one of the highest customer retention rates in the education industry.

"We found one of the top leaders in data warehousing, data analytics and data-driven decision dashboards in education," said Lisa Barnett, CEO. "The acquisition of Versifit was critical to continuing our dedication to bringing revolutionary solutions to the market that help address the common challenges education leaders face."

With the addition of Versifit (and their flagship product Edvantage), Atomic Learning can further support education leaders seeking to revolutionize teaching and learning through the powerful connection of all of their data points into actionable tools for decision making.  Combined with Atomic Learning's vast collection of eLearning on the most critical topics facing educators, data can be coupled with targeted professional learning - all of which is ultimately about helping students get more out of learning.

“For over three years, we’ve been working closely with Atomic Learning’s outstanding team to find the right strategic acquisition and are thrilled to have found Versifit,” said Jesse Serventi, a Renovus Founder.  “Versifit offers an excellent product that is in high demand by school districts, and spending growth in this category is likely to continue for many years to come.  It is a great combination with Atomic,” added Brad Whitman, a Renovus founder.

DLA Piper advised Renovus on the transaction while DecisionPoint International served as exclusive advisor to Versifit Technologies.
