The Department of Interior Design displayed student work at the Javits Center during the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City in May.

DANCE

The FSU School of Dance/International Program offers a unique study abroad program. “Dance in Paris” immerses the students in the dance scene of Paris through technique classes in various genres throughout the city.

THEATRE

School of Theatre alum David McElwee (BFA Acting, 2010), along with the rest of the cast of A. R. Gurney’s The Wayside Motor Inn, are being awarded a Drama Desk Special Award for Best Ensemble.

FACILITY FOR ARTS RESEARCH

This summer at the Facility for Arts Research, visiting artist Mark Nathan Stafford (MFA in Studio Art, FSU, 2011) and FAR’s Windham Graves (MMAP Lead) continue to collaborate on their project, My Twitter has Become so Powerful.

Ever since the Museum of Fine Arts was invited last February to join the Google Cultural Institution website, we have been preparing the images and the curated exhibitions that we will upload to our site.

RINGLING

The Ringling presents Fan-Tastic!, an exhibition which will  feature highlights from their noteworthy collection of more than 250 fans. The exhibition will be on display April 3rd through June 28th.
