Two shows which opened in two concurrent weekends this past August at the Hudson River Valley included prints by FSU Art faculty Dan Torop. He was included in the Sound Behind You 2, as well as, in the Frontispiece Hudson, a nonprofit artist’s residency.

“Uprooting & Rerouting: Origins, Journeys, Identity” will be located at the WJB Gallery through September 24, 2016. This exhibition features the work of New Orleans-based artist, Gina Phillips, with an artist reception on September 23 from 5:00 – 8:00PM.

The Department of Art History is excited to announce a new 4+1 combined degree program in Museum and Cultural Heritage Studies which allows academically ambitious FSU undergraduates to complete both a BA and an MA degree in five years.

The College of Fine Arts is proud to announce that Florida State University’s School of Theatre, has been named in the top five for a BFA in Acting in the country for the 2016 – 2017 school year! In 2015 the Musical Theatre Program was named in the top ten.

“The Birth Project: Born Again,” works by artist Judy Chicago completed between 1980 and 1985, will be available to visitors at the Museum of Fine Arts beginning September 24, 2016 with an opening reception on October 14, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00PM.
