Saturday, Dec. 20 | 9:00AM - 12:00PM | KABA Volunteer Event at the Atlanta Food Bank

Yes, it is the holiday season and everyone is busy.  But we hope 5-10 of you will join us for a volunteer event with the Atlanta Community Food Bank's community gardening project, followed by lunch on Buford highway.  According to the report, Food Security Within Immigrant Communities in Georgia, among those most affected by food insecurity are immigrant groups.  Some groups, particularly those from Asia, organize and participate in community gardening rather than seek government assistance.  The report noted that additional coordination and expansion of these programs is needed.

Han Choi shares his insight that it takes more to succeed sometimes than billing the most hours--perception matters--as June Towery, Matthew Pi, and Jared Hodges listen in (top right).  According to our consultant, our group is more on the impatient and rules-oriented side (top left).  Brittanie Browning, Carol Lee, and Marikit Bankston post for a quick shot before the presentation (center).  Cindy Lynch, our fantastic consultant from Six20 Partners (bottom right), and Dayoon Jeong, Greg Shin, and Lilia Kim listen in (bottom left).

For those of you who wanted more information about the Predictive Index test, Cindy Lynch sent us a report on the construct validity and PI factors in relation to race, gender, and job.  A special thank you again to Cindy Lynch, Han Choi, Rhonda Holloway, and Six20 Partners!
