Grasmere Bunkhouse & Camping Barn

We're on target with our new build plans.

Following our current refurbishment work Grasmere Bunkhouse 16 beds and Camping Barn 8 beds will open from April 2013

Grasmere Bunkhouse will have 16 bunks in 4 rooms with 3 showers and toilets.
Thorney How Camping Barn will have 8 bed spaces with dedicated shower and wash facilities.

Film Screenings / Events

Byron Film Poster
BYRON Sunday 17th February

Our next film night presented in conjunction with The Wordsworth Trust.

This made for TV film recreates the life and times of early 19th century scribe Lord Byron and his infamous antics!

Films will be starting from 5pm, the event finishing at around 8.30pm.

To book a ticket £5 (and supper £6.50) please contact The Wordsworth Trust.

Wedding Ceremony at Thorney How

We’re one of a very few alternative accommodation providers and destinations in Cumbria that can also hold a wedding ceremony on site. So if you’re looking for something a little different and maybe on a smaller budget we’re here to help.
