The Power Of Your "Inner Warrior"

The definition we use of warrior is “One who conquers oneself.” The path of the spiritual warrior is not about power over others but power over yourself.  Embrace the concepts behind what it means to be a warrior; mental focus, resilience, courage, compassion and awareness of mind, body and spirit so the warrior can be optimal to do what needs to be done when the moment calls.

Connect with your inner warrior of love, light, peace, deep stillness and presence. One of the most basic principles of the warrior is to not fear mistakes; use mistakes as a primary form of learning and growing. The warrior knows how to connect with their inner spirit to gain guidance, life force, and strength. The warrior is an empowered person with a definitive sense of selfhood. Warriors know who they are in themselves and in relation to the world.
Self Affirmations & Mantras:
- "I give myself permission to do what is right for me."
- "I create a safe and secure space for myself wherever I am."
- "I allow myself and others to be, without judgment."
- "I accept my emotions and let them serve their purpose."
- "I enjoy using my time, resources and talents to help others."
- "I give myself space to grow and learn."
- "I am smart and my mind is overflowing with brilliant ideas."
- "I listen to my intuition and trust my inner guide."
- "I trust I am on the right path."

Emotional and psychological trauma is the result of extremely stressful events that shatter your sense of security, making you feel helpless. Psychological trauma can leave you struggling with upsetting emotions, memories, anxiety or leave you feeling numb, disconnected, and unable to trust other people.

We all react to trauma in different ways; experiencing a wide range of physical and emotional reactions. There is no “right” or “wrong” way to think, feel, or respond, so don’t judge your own reactions or those of other people. Trauma symptoms typically last anywhere from a few days, to a few months or longer, gradually fading as you process the unsettling event. While emotional trauma is a normal response to a disturbing event, it becomes Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) when your nervous system gets “stuck” and you remain in psychological shock, unable to make sense of what happened or process your emotions.

Self-regulate your nervous system:
Self soothe/ calm yourself with these tips

Reiki- "Restoring Balance and Harmony to the Mind, Body and Spirit."

People often comment how comforting they find the experience of Reiki to be. Recipients frequently feel that they are hovering in a threshold state of consciousness, simultaneously aware of their surroundings and deeply indrawn. Some people fall into a calm, deep, sleeplike meditative state. You may experience memories/ visualizations (pictures or colours) or sensations in the body such as heat or tingling. Try to allow whatever arises to pass without attaching too much meaning to it. Your experiences may become deeper the more you continue with reiki. The most common experience is an almost immediate release of stress and a feeling of deep relaxation or energetic feeling. Overall, reiki has the potential to bring about many positive benefits to your overall healthy & well-being.

Nutrition is the study of nutrients in food, how the body uses them, and the relationship between food choices, lifestyle, health, and disease. Nutritionists use ideas from molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics to understand how nutrients affect the human body. Nutrition also focuses on how people can use dietary choices to reduce the risk of disease, what happens if a person has too much or too little of a nutrient, and how allergies work. Nutrients provide nourishment. Proteins, carbohydrates, fat, vitamins, minerals, fibre, and water are all nutrients. If people do not have the right balance of nutrients in their diet, their risk of developing certain health conditions increases. Good nutrition means your body gets all the nutrients, vitamins, and minerals it needs to work its best. Plan meals and snacks to include nutrient-dense foods.
