Undagrid News Update

Hi Everyone,

It’s been awhile since our last Undagrid news update. We were really busy with making things happen. Now it’s time to share some of our accomplishments in the last months.

Next Generation Network As A Platform

Based on insights gathered with our first network roll-outs at Schiphol and Charles de Gaulle we have significantly upgraded our intelligent network and cloud services. With this new Undagrid software stack the communication range between devices is easily extended up to a kilometer and the energy profile remains very low power. Combinations with Bluetooth Low Energy and LoRa are included and new features can simply be added to devices over-the-air. It’s future proof! The new Undagrid solution is already integrated in our new ruggedized aviation product with new sensors and integrated antennas.

Live at 3 other airports

Next to Schiphol and Charles de Gaulle we are about to go live at Frankfurt and Brussels Airport. And before the end of the year we will add London Heathrow to our list of active airports, rapidly building out the GSETrack solution serving a variety of international customers. In October we presented GSETrack at the Inter Airport Europe in Munich, which was a very successful exhibition. It’s great to hear that everyone recognizes the problem that we solve and to collect lots of new leads from all over the world.

New office at Schiphol

Undagrid’s technology department was already settled in Enschede, and we now have relocated our business office as well. We touched base at Schiphol! We are located at the Toekanweg 2, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in the recently opened S-P-S building. Feel free to come by for an excellent view on the apron and the runway, accompanied by a cup of fresh coffee.

Co-operation with Kennispark

There are many reasons why it shows that Undagrid and Enschede are a very good combination. We can add one more, as per December 2nd 2015 Kennispark (a foundation of i.a. the University of Twente, the City of Enschede) and Undagrid signed an agreement supporting a technology project together with the University of Twente.

Our plans in 2016

We have many good plans for 2016, like entering the next industries with new solutions, further roll-out of GSETrack in Europe, Asia and The Middle East, developing software algorithms in co-operation with the University, hiring employees and closing a new funding round.
