The concert will include a varied programme of music for flute, voice and piano which will include local singers Kelly Wilson (soprano), Bronwyn Douglass (mezzo-soprano), Peter Carmen (Tenor) and Kevin Price (Baritone).
One of the items will be a trio featuring flautist Jennifer Bradstreet, pianist Maryleigh Hand (from Sydney) and local soprano Kelly Wilson â€“ â€˜Lo! Hear the Gentle Larkâ€™ by (Sir) Henry Bishop words by Shakespeare.
For an interesting YouTube clip, follow this link which features a performance with the WA Symphony Orchestra conducted by our dear friend and mentor the late John Hopkins, with international soloists, James Galway (Flute) and Dame Kiri Te Kanawa (Soprano) in a concert at the Leeuwin Estate Wineryâ€¦.. also features a very Australian bird who got into the act!

Our official launch was held on Thursday 26th March at the Mercure Inn. Competition Director, Carol Dallâ€™Osto revealed plans for the 2015 year.

Can you spare some time during the Competition 24 - 28 July to assist us? We are a community organisation and rely heavily on volunteers to help create this wonderful event and opportunity for our local performers.
We are seeking volunteers to assist with Front of House or to help with the competitors. Contact us if you are able to assist.
