Licencing Apprentice


Based in Kensington, London Universal Music is the global music leader with strong market positions in recorded music, music publishing, and merchandising.
 
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Liaising with artist’s management with the view to obtaining permission to use either Universal Music UK, or other Universal Music Group International tracks for international compilation projects. 
  • Working closely with Licensing colleagues and Product Managers, Catalogue and UMTV to effectively clear repertoire in line with key project timescales – this will involve working to tight deadlines. 
  • Helping Universal employee’s world-wide to determine rights for tracks and helping with any other queries that arise.
  • Updating and maintaining records of cleared projects so if a problem or question

  • Updating online jobs websites with our vacancies
  • Producing the bi-weekly jobs newsletter, including researching suitable vacancies, events and news
  • Keeping employers and candidates up-to-date on the recruitment process
  • Maintaining recruitment databases
  • Organising and attending bi-weekly assessment days

Creative and Digital Media Apprentice 

Sitauted in South East London, A role has arisen in their Marketing and Communications team for a Creative and Digital Media Apprentice. Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with website administration including implementation of new web pages
  • Support the management and maintenance of the digital image library including capturing and cataloguing of images
  • Taking photos of events, after school clubs, residential school and other activities which will then be put on website and in our newsletter
  • Research and produce written content for web pages
  • Support production of video content for website and digital boards and events/exhibitions
  • Assist with management of social media channels including tweeting
  • Assisting with event management activities
  • Write and design newsletters

Administration and Sales Apprentice

Based in Canary Wharf, Lifetime Learning is a charity that supports people into employment through training and work experience.  They are looking for a bright, enthusiastic young person who is looking to develop their administration and sales skills
 
Key duties include:
  • To be the first point of contact for all telephone enquiries and to direct calls to the appropriate person
  • Telephone liaison with customers, creating enquiries and meeting weekly sales targets 
  • To turn enquiries for meeting rooms into bookings and confirm their requirements
  • To set up the meeting room space in line with clients requirements  
  •  To help maintain the office area and that relevant publicity and promotional items are up to date
  •  To deal with outgoing and incoming post
  •    To take accurately and forward promptly, all phone and email messages

Journalism Programme

Sky is looking to recruit young talent into their two year journalism program. Applicants must be 18 by 1 September 2016 as successful candidates can potentially deal with content that is not suitable for younger people. 
Your skills
To apply, you'll have:
 
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE grades A*-C (including English and Maths plus a minimum grade B in English Language). In addition, a minimum of two A-Levels grades A* – C, or a BTEC Diploma (merit or distinction) in a relevant subject.
  •  A passion for sports and sports news content (essential).
  •  Excellent communication and team working skills.
  •  Ideally, you’ll be able to pick things up quickly in this fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Collecting accurate information through thorough research
  • Liaising with the sales team on data found and on any new information that may be required
  • Support other departments in the company as and when needed
  • Completing administrative work as required
  • To work to tight deadlines while maintaining high levels of attention to detail.
