Next on the agenda this week is the Build Back Better Act (BBB), which still needs grassroots muscle to pass this transformative social compact with Americans. It will dramatically improve people’s lives. The BBB framework will:

• Make life more affordable for middle-class workers and their families – paid for by ensuring the wealthiest pay their fair share.
• Create jobs to make our economy more resilient to climate change fueled disasters like floods, wildfires, hurricanes, and droughts — saving Americans money and building a cleaner, fairer, and more productive economy
• Extend the American Rescue Plan's expanded Child Tax Credit and Earned-Income Tax Credit — benefiting millions and continuing the largest one-year reduction in child poverty in history.
• Make health care, childcare, and caring for elderly Americans more affordable
