This month, Fund the People is holding the third installment of our popular Online Briefing & Conversation series in response to the coronavirus pandemic and the renewed Black Lives Matter protest movement. Our April and May sessions focused primarily on how federal and state stimulus is (or is not) helping the nonprofit workforce to navigate the crisis. This month, we begin a two-part conversation exploring how nonprofits, intermediaries, and funders can invest in the “personal sustainability” of nonprofit workers during this era.

Nonprofit workers are always on the edge of burnout -- especially now. The endurance of this workforce has a significant effect on the stability, capacity, performance, and impact of the organizations and movements to which they contribute. In Fund the People’s 3rd pandemic-era online briefing and conversation, you’ll learn from Darlene Nipper and Viviana Rennella, the passionate executives of two highly-regarded organizations that help nonprofit people navigate these challenges: the Rockwood Leadership Institute and Windcall Institute. We’ll discuss how they support nonprofit and social justice leaders to sustain themselves for the long haul; what they are seeing during this extraordinary time; and what they are doing to support people now.
