In the fourth and final webinar in Fund the People's Talent Justice Series, we’ll explore key research findings on the dynamics of inequity in transitions into executive leadership. When nonprofits hire people of color and/or those from other historically marginalized groups to succeed long-serving white CEOs, the new leaders are too often set up to fail by their boards and funders. In order to advance equity and inclusion in the ascension career phase, funders and nonprofits must invest in environments that encourage learning and risk-taking that are critical for the success of new leaders but are less often available to leaders of color. We'll learn about challenges and promising strategies to better support intersectional racial equity when ascending into executive leadership.
Presenters include: Sonia BasSheva Mañjon, Executive Director, LeaderSpring; Rusty Stahl, President & CEO, Fund the People, and Yolanda Caldera-Durant, Vice President, Fund the People
