Departing for India...TOMORROW!

Tomorrow we depart for India!! We will be hosting our 8th Annual Pastor’s Conference and we are excited! There will be six speakers on the schedule for this conference. Our WorldView Associate, James Overton, is already there teaching in WorldView Institute. Bob McQueary is in Myanmar conducting a pastor’s training week and will join us in India.

In addition to James, Bob and myself, we will be joined by Jeremy Rowland of Baptist Church Planting Ministries, Pastor David Zempel of Martinsville, IN and Pastor Mark Gillmore of Menomonee Falls, WI.  Jason Prisk will also accompany us and help us with getting our India DVD updated. Please pray that God will give us a great conference and a safe trip.

The Next Trip...OFFICIAL PROJECT LAUNCHING!

We depart April 4th for Arua, Uganda. On this trip we will host a Pastors Conference for Madi speaking pastors, take part in the ordination of three men to the gospel ministry AND…we will be officially launching our Madi Translation Project!!

After two years of training and preparation, the five Madi-speaking men have moved to Arua with their families and are getting settled in. They will have a Greek refresher course before we arrive in April. Our staff will spend two weeks with them getting them in the routine and process of translating the New Testament into the Madi Language.

We are thrilled to officially begin this project. There have been many obstacles to overcome, but we see the Lord working and meeting needs.

Would you pray about supporting this project monthly?
We need your help!

Meetings & Schedule for 2016

In addition to our foreign trips, we have a busy schedule of mission conferences. We will cover the breadth of the nation this year from New Hampshire to Florida to Texas to Oregon. We are truly thankful to serve as your missionaries in this vital work of Bible translation.

Please pray for our 7 translation projects, our staff, our national translators and our school for training Bible translators. God is blessing and working.

Emily - Sowing & Reaping

A few days ago, we were in Texas speaking at the Mt. Abarim Baptist Missions Conference. One afternoon, we visited a mall with an ice-skating rink and Emily went ice-skating. She began witnessing, first to London, a 6-year-old girl, who went and told her dad that we were missionaries.

Then Emily witnessed to a 22-year-old girl from Jordan who was a Muslim (I also spoke with the Muslim girl for several minutes, but she was not receptive to the gospel), and later to two girls her own age who both prayed to receive Christ.

After observing all this, London’s dad came over to me and asked where we serve as missionaries. After I explained WorldView to him, this was his response. “I am a Baptist pastor here in Dallas. Will you come to my church and present your ministry? What your daughter did and what you do is amazing and I want to support your work.”

Stay at it Emily!!

May God bless you. Thank you for your continued support and prayer for WorldView Ministries.

Exalting the Lord,
