Independent Implementation review of EIP Water

EY and Technopolis have been retained by EC-DG Environment to conduct an independent, mid-term implementation review of EIP Water. This review will identify EIP Water activities that have performed best to date (e.g. Annual Conference, Newsletter, Market Place, etc.). This exercise will also highlight activities that have been efficient, relevant and coherent, in relation to helping the EC tackle water-related challenges and achieve EC water-related policy objectives. This review will lead to practical recommendations for the Commission on the future implementation of EIP Water.

In light of this review, EY and Technopolis would love to hear from EIP Water members – they will be launching a stakeholder survey in the coming days, and also plan to organise stakeholder focus group meetings in Brussels in January 2018. Your feedback on EIP Water to date is important, as it will help the Commission to better shape EIP Water in line with the needs of the EIP Water stakeholder community, going forward. A link to the stakeholder survey will be shared with you, as soon as this survey goes live. We will also update you on the results of the review in the next edition of the EIP Water Newsletter – please do take this opportunity to help shape the future of EIP Water.
