Record registration for EIP Water conference

With just 8 weeks before the water innovation world descends on Porto for the EIP Water conference and Porto Water Innovation Week, registration is at an all-time high with over 580 people having secured their seat. Of these, 20% are from utilities from across Europe eager to get to know the most innovative solutions for their particular challenges.

The exhibition is filling up fast, too, and 14 start-up companies have already booked their space next to corporations, water companies, research centres and the like.

Numerous open side events are being held on September 26 and 29, here's an overview.

The Platform for Integrated Operation Research and Management of Public Water towards 2030 will assist water utilities integrated water services that maximize water resource efficiency and circularity.

IMPREX: IMproving PRedictions and management of hydrological Extremes

The consequences of extreme weather events can be high for the safety of citizens, agricultural production, transportation, energy production and urban water supply. IMPREX is improving the forecasting of meteorological and hydrological extremes in Europe and their impacts by applying dynamic model ensembles, process studies, new data assimilation techniques and high resolution modelling.
