Happy Friday gang.  The banner image shown above is the 1953 Meteor SR-1 sports car.  Dick Jones designed and built the first Meteor in 1953 and it debuted at the Petersen Motorama in Los Angeles, California.  The photo below shows the first Meteor at the show and was published in the February 1954 issue of Car Craft.
