AUTUMN NEWSLETTER

Oxford University Museum of Natural History

NEW EXHIBITS NOW OPEN!

Life bursts with colour, and our perception of it brings much beauty to the world.  As the maple leaves golden and sloe berries ripen, autumn helps renew our appreciation for the colour spectrum of the natural world. Here at the Museum of Natural History, we have a rich assortment of brightly coloured specimens, from precious gemstones to tropical insects. New to the Main Court is our "Life in colour" display, which celebrates the evolution of colour in the animal world.

"Life in colour" is just one of twenty new displays at the Museum showcasing Life, as we know it. Focusing on the interactions between our planet’s evolutionary and geological histories, Life, as we know it traces the story of life on Earth and celebrates our planet’s incredible biodiversity. Why not rediscover natural history with a visit to the Museum this autumn?

Open until 22 November. Featuring aerial photography from J Henry Fair, this new exhibition reveals the waste produced by industries we rely on every day. Upper Gallery. Free entry, no booking required.
