Upcoming Events and Webinars

  • Our new monthly webinar series will take place the second Wednesday of each month at 1 pm Eastern/10 am Pacific. We'll kick off the series on January 11, 2017, with "How you and your gateway can benefit from the services of the SGCI" which will be presented by Nancy Wilkins-Diehr, Michael Zentner, Marlon Pierce, Maytal Dahan, Katherine Lawrence, and Linda Hayden.   • SGCI is offering a week-long Science Gateways Bootcamp that will provide selected attendees with strategies for developing, operating, and sustaining gateways. The intensive workshop will take place April 24-28, 2017 in Indianapolis, IN and is designed for leaders of innovative digital offerings who seek to further develop and scale their work.   • SGCI will be represented in the Minitrack on Science Gateways and Portals at HICSS-50 in Hawaii on January 5, 2017. The minitrack will include a presentation about the SGCI and a panel about gateways. Both Sandra Gesing and Maytal Dahan will be participating. Feel free to chat with them about our services!

Gateways 2017: Save the Date!

We are excited to announce that Gateways 2017 will take place on the campus of the University of Michigan in beautiful Ann Arbor. Tutorials will be offered on Monday, October 23, followed by a full conference program on October 24-25. Please save the date! We look forward to seeing familiar faces, and hope to see some new ones.

Gateways 2016 Wrap-Up

Our conference in San Diego was a great success! Many thanks to all who attended, presented, and organized. Slides and papers from Gateways 2016 are now posted in the program on our website. You can also view the keynote lectures given by Rajiv Ramnath and Fernando Perez as well as the Lessons Learned Panel on the SGCI YouTube page. Papers will be available through figshare in January.
