Youth Solutions' E News for April 2014

E News April 2014

Message from the CEO – Geraldine Dean

Geraldine DeanFirstly, thank you to our E Newsletter subscribers who read our publication each month.

We were delighted to receive a ZEST Award for our project in partnership with the Campbelltown Catholic Club, 'What's the cost to you?'. This is a fantastic achievement and we are so proud that our partnership has been recognised. You can read our full article about the award here.

In other news, we were asked to join Channel 7's Weekend Sunrise panel to discuss the dangerous viral drinking game 'Neknominate'. It was great to speak on behalf of our Service and acknowledge the young people in our community who make safer choices and reject viral trends like this one. Visit our website to view the segment.

Please read on for more details about what has been happening at Youth Solutions and what we are up to in next few months.

Farewell
Written by Brooke Manzione, Communications and Marketing Coordinator

As I wrap up my final days as a Youth Solutions staff member, I am compelled to write a heartfelt thank you to the Youth Solutions Board, team, young people and the Macarthur and Wingecarribee community (where I call home).

It has been an absolute pleasure working for an organisation that focuses on building resilience in young people and providing them with the knowledge and tools to reach their full potential. Not only is Youth Solutions an important service in our community, it is made up of amazing and inspiring people.

To everyone I have met or worked with over the last three years; thank you for the memories and for making my job a pleasure to go to every day.
