Dear <<First Name>>,

We did it!  Last week, twenty organizations, including yours, came from across the country to the Cardigan Lodge in New Hampshire to attend the 5th Annual Outdoors Empowered Network National Summit!  While we planned, we could only imagine how well it might go.  Now, we are thrilled to say that what happened exceeded our dreams.

Nestled in the mountains, during a gorgeously colorful fall- complete with wind, hail, sun, and snow, we swapped stories, discussed challenges, and planned for progress. With each of you presenting on your current work and hopes for the future, the boundaries of geography and isolation began to fade, as our common missions and passions for our work, and for the outdoors came to the forefront. We were treated to spectacular New England fall colors, drank local beer together, sang loudly around a bonfire, and added an important tradition- see video- thanks to our dear friends from the Midwest.

Now it's time to let us know, more specifically how we did.  Please take a minute to fill out this evaluation of the Summit and share your thoughts.

PHOTOS!!  We've got a few pictures up in a Google Album and will be adding a bunch more to both that album in the coming days. Please add your photos there, or post to our Facebook Page, where we've got a few up in an album as well.

PARTICIPANT LIST: Google Sheet- HERE Please connect! (I set up sharing so you can edit if you need to!)

A few final requests
  1. Please send your Program Share slides if you didn't give them to us, as we'll post those on our website for download soon.
  2. If you agreed to be a part of a working group, reach out to each other ASAP to determine WHEN, and how often you'll meet.  Determine regular, repeating meeting dates and let Kyle know when those will be so he can share and support. Thanks leaders!
We look forward to continuing to learn from all of you, share with you, and grow the network with you!

Warmest regards and best wishes for a terrific week! GO SOX!!
Kyle and Hannah!

P.S. Tom got in touch with me and said someone lost a GREEN NATIONAL PARKS NOTEBOOK- Please get in touch with him directly at amccardigan@outdoors.org if this is yours.

P.P.S. I lost my Green Forest Preserves of Cook County Sweatshirt!  Anybody grab it?
